Small Double Mattresses

All standard single mattresses are 90cm wide by 190cm long, or 3' x 6'3". This makes a single size mattress ideal for solo sleepers or children. They work especially well in smaller rooms where space is at a premium, but are still large enough to allow a single person to fully relax.

As it's 15cm narrower than a double mattress, as well as 30cm narrower and 10cm shorter than a king mattress, a small double or queen size is a perfect choice for couples with smaller bedrooms.

A double fitted sheet, also called a full fitted sheet, can fit onto a queen mattress, but the sheet will be slightly larger than the mattress and will need to be tucked under. You can also use a double duvet, mattress protector, and double bedding for a three quarter mattress, although these will be slightly larger, too.
